Serological Properties of Streptococcus mutans From Humans and Some Animals

The development ofa simple but reliable diagnostic method of identifying and grouping S. mutans was undertaken. There were three specific antigens of S. mutans, and the slide agglutination test was found to be a good method using three specific antisera.
