Abstract

Bone marrow necrosis is a rare but ominous finding in various malignant and nonmalignant disorders. We report a case of bone marrow necrosis secondary to gastric adenocarcinoma. The dramatical presentation of this disorder with thrombocytopenia, fever and liver function abnormalities, especially among patients with cancer, justifies increased awareness. Key Words: Bone marrow necrosis, bone marrow biopsy, thrombocytopenia, gastric adenocarcinom
