Communication Network is an important consideration for optimal utilization of resources. Several communication networks are studied through descriptive modelling dealing with characterizing the performance of the network. However, for optimal utilization of resources such as bandwidth, transmitters, routers, etc., the perspective modelling and analysis of communication networks is needed. In this paper, the optimal operating policies of a two-transmitter communication network are developed and analysed. Here, the arrivals of the network are characterized by compound binomial Poisson process and transmission of both the transmitters is characterized by Poisson process.
