The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of counselor-induced conditions of present-centeredness on self-actualization in college students at Oregon State University. A determination of the level of self-actuali-zation of clients treated by counselors with low, medium, and high levels of present-centeredness was also measured. In addition, the researcher investigated the present-centered training effect on counselor responses..
