Abstract—Oil acquisition and development is a difficult problem in the oil field and related geological study. The traditional geological exploration is of low accuracy, and need a lot of manpower, material and financial resources. The 3D geological modeling has been the foundation of oilfield development work and the modern science and technology performance. Thus, this paper mainly reviewed the critical issues of 3D geological modeling technology oriented to the oilfield. In summary, 3D geological modeling technology can reduce the error rate between the reservoir and the well.
