Visualization, memory, and visual and auditory sequencing are important cognitive areas that must be developed before children can learn how to learn. f>y the year 2000, much of the information taught in schools today will no longer be pertinent. People will need to process information more quickly. In today's world with more single parent families and families in which both parents work, certain basic skills needed by children to process information rapidly are not fully developed. Three of these cognitive areas are: visualization, memory, and sequencing (both visual and auditory).
