The purpose of the study was to examine five immigrant teachers ’ perceptions of education. This research, especially explored (a) participants ’ motivation of their teaching career choice, (b) their motivation to become a teacher in the USA, (c) challenges they faced in the USA, (d) how they overcame the obstacles they faced, and (e) suggestions for USA teachers who are teaching Latino children. The data was collected using open-ended questions and were analyzed using content analysis.
