1 Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos Aplicado a la Licenciatura en Ingeniería

Nowadays, in the pursuit of universities ' academic excellence, particularly the educational programs, conduct activities leading to improve its academic and administrative processes in order to achieve higher levels of quality, to graduate professionals with the knowledge, skills and attitudes an engineer should have today at the end of his bachelor degree. From this stems the need for universities to identify the priority factors that must be considered to improve the quality of its academic programs. This article aims to present the results that have been encountered in trying to implement curriculum improvement to Mechatronics Engineering degree, under projects methodologies, to see if by exposing students to the reality as well as allow them questioning themselves about the knowledge, skills and attitudes that developed during the course of his degree having to apply them in the development and implementation of a product, process or real system, they develop better than the traditional way, ie. doing much emphasis on science and very little in practice, including generic skills required in today 's engineers any areas like teamwork and leadership, oral and written communication, a thorough management of fundamental basic science of engineering (physics, mathematics and chemistry)
