This study examines a feedback portfolio developed by student teachers in their secondary science methods courses. The portfolio preparation requires students to reflect and select their best five learning experiences during the course and provide a short explanation regarding the value of those experiences. This study also involves emergency permit teachers. Findings indicate that students appreciate the different experiences explored during the secondary science methods course and the opportunity to reflect and develop the feedback portfolio.
