The use of in-vitro fertilization (IVF) increases every year, as does the resulting number of births. It is well substantiated that the process of infertility and IVF is stressful for both the woman and her partner. Research has examined psychological stress during the process of IVF, the effect stress has on IVF outcome, and examin-ationofvarious interventions todecrease theamountof experiencedstressduring the IVF process.
