An interesting case of isolated gluteal artery aneurysm, without an obvious causative factor, is presented. Case Report A sixty-year-old woman was admitted to the Municipal Hospital of Athens (B’Surgical Dept.) in February, 1988, for a large pulsatile mass in the left gluteal area. This mass appeared in June, 1987. It was painless and was not inflamed, and there was no history of direct trauma of the buttocks. In September, 1984, she had been admitted to the Hospital (B’Surgical Dept.) for acute embolus obstruction of her right superficial femoral artery.
