0,1 to 7 % of all chest traumas have tracheobronchial injury. Tracheobronchial rupture cases with finding of hemoptysis have been diagnosed earlier than with other symptoms. By this way bronchoscopy and surgery could be applied short period after trauma. 21-year old male patient was admitted to hospital with blunt chest trauma at third hour of trauma without hemoptysis. By the 20. hour of trauma, sudden decrease of oxygen saturation was determined and bronchoscopy was performed. We determined that bronchial mucosal bleeding at late hours of trauma without any rupture. Blunt chest trauma patients with hemoptysis should be examined with bronchoscopy routinely to control bronchial structure
