Almost 180 plant specimens were collected in these studies. After the identification of these specimens, 85 taxa at specific and sub-specific ranks were determined. Of these, 28 taxa are new to the Al grid–square. In addition, Polytrichum commune var. perigoniale (Michx.) Hampe is a new record for the moss flora of Turkey
