Abstract: Problem statement: Salmonella infection is a serious medical and veterinary problem world-wide and causes great concern in the human health and food safety. Salmonella enteritidis outer membrane proteins and lipopolysaccharide play important role in the virulence and immunological properties of bacteria. Prophylaxis of enterobacterial infection has proven difficult to achieve. Vaccination is an effective tool for the prevention of Salmonella infection.
