Research shows that a wide gap exists between the graduation rates of first-generation students and one\u27s peers whose parental figures have college experience. However, reform can be established on college campuses and within k-12 classrooms to increase the success of members within this population. Throughout the presentation, information on first-generation students will be presented and recommendations for improvement will be outlined
