International audienceA new method, called HRWA for High Resolution Wavenumber Analysis is presented. It permits the wide-band and local identification of linear viscoelastic behavior of anisotropic plates. It is independent from the boundary conditions or the excitation type. Inherited from ESPRIT (Estimation of Signal Parameters via Rotational Invariance Techniques) and ESTER (ESTimation of ERror) signal processing methods, it is robust and fully automated. The HRWA implementation is developped. Three main experimental sudy cases are presented. Different wave types (bending, shear and compression) are identified in the same measured field.
