Bubbly flows occurring in nuclear power plants remain a major limiting phenomenon for the analysis of operation and safety. As an example, the improvement of steam generator lifetime and performance relies on the comprehension of flow regimes inside the tubes responsible for tube vibrations. However, to ensure an accurate simulation of these flows, theComputational Multi-Fluid Dynamics (CMFD) codes have to take up many challenges, among others the ability of dealing with a variety of inclusion sizes.
