The.objectives of Project-Mexico were to train a group of 15 community college instructors from Southern California in ail interdisciplinary approachintegrating ideological, technological, and societal perspectivesto the study of Mexican culture, to produce new curriculum materials for use,131 comaunity college classrodm instruction, and to develop a aodel for the study of other Latin American countries. After initial orientation and background reading, project participants spent six weeks of intensive study and travel in Mexico, focused on development-of individual curriculum projects.
