The paper summarizes results on the numerical impedance study of the vacuum components in the ATF damping ring which is being commissioned. It is shown that wake po-tential in the damping ring is inductive. With the longitudi-nal impedance evaluated, we estimated behaviors of bunch lengthening for a single bunch in the ATF damping ring with a Vlasov equation approach.
