The initial stage of a model that simulates net prices facing degree students in New York State postsecondary institutions is described. The Stude4 Support Sources model uses readily available data sources to simulate the Oebcpsses by which _family_-and student-resources and financial aid are 511.16cated to different types of students enrolled at different types of New York State institutions. This analog model atteMpts to replicate'the aid allocation process on a student-by-student basis. The model is written in aAsIc for a Radio Shack Model III microcomputer system.
