Abstract: In this paper, we propose and analyze some new predictor-corrector methods for solving nonlinear equations using the weight combination of mid-point, Trapezoidal and Simp-son quadrature formulas. We prove that these new methods are better than the newton method. Several examples are given to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed methods
