The major purpose of this study was to describe community college child care centers in terms of selected operational and physical features. It was expected that findings would provide answers to the following questions: What child care provisions exist on selected community college campuses? How do those child care centers serve their respective colleges? How are the child care canters staffed? How are the child care centers funded? and What are the plans for future advancement of the centers? The population selected was a consortium of 19 community college districts that included 53 public institutions comprising the League for Innovation in the Community College.
