In a chemical analysis of the red seaweed Plocamium cartilagineum collected in Antarctic Peninsula, four polyhalogenated monoterpenes were isolated. Their structures were established by spectroscopic techniques. Two of them are acyclic monoterpenes and the others are cyclic.
