This paper presents a tool for texture mapping in a dis-tributed environment. A parallelization method based on the master-slave model is described. The purpose of this work is to lower the image generation time in the complex 3D scenes synthesis process. The experimental results con-cerning the speedup of texture mapping algorithm are also presented.
