SULFANILAMIDE was recently sug-gested by Bryan (1941) as a treatment for blackhead of turkeys and pheasants, when given in fairly large dosages. He gave 2.0 grains per pound of body weight twice diseases, synovitis, or so-called non-specific enteritis. The results of experiments given below are reported to record the tolerance of turkeys for the drug and to emphasize its limited use for this bird.
