*Compressed Video; Transmitters This paper presents the results of three surveys about live, two-way interactive video (compressed video) and discusses some possible trends in its use, applications, and technological development. Surveys are an Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) survey that has not been completed; one from the "International Video Teleconferencing Source Book, " which lists over 900 users in the United States; and the National Association of State Telecommunications Directors survey of 10 western states.
