This testimony from a nonacademic woman working in a textile workshop, who became literate after reaching adult-hood, is not an anecdote. Unfortunately, while they have been at the forefront of radical transformations in their everyday lives and in numerous different spheres, women in the most vulnerable situations have been traditionally excluded from the academic debates related to women. They have also been excluded from research on gender-related subjects or research that analyzes the situation of inequality faced by women. While societies are becoming more and more dialogic, femi-nism and research methodologies are also becoming more so, and this breaks away from this inequality and includes the voices of the Other Women into areas for public and aca-demic debate and into research that contributes to improving the lives of all women. Critical communicative research also allows for this same inclusion. This article will show how the critical communicative methodology (CCM) has led to the involvement of the Other Women (Puigvert, 2001) in significant debates so that it is possible for these women to become protagonists in their own personal transformations and contribute to sci-entific progress in social sciences. To do this, we have divided this article into three sections. The first section includes a description of how feminism has become trans-formed while at the same time societies have become more dialogic. This change in societies and in the feminist move-ment has facilitated a context within which research methodologies, in this case the critical communicative methodology, can include the Other Women into academic debates and research related to their own lives. In the sec-ond section we will share some examples of how this inclu-sion has been carried out in research through the use of the CCM.
