Oregon Master Gardeners were surveyed to identify volunteer demographics, as well as familiarity with and frequency of use of current computer technology. The Oregon State University Master Gardener Program has evolved over the past 25 years, and as such so have the training needs. New demands are presently being made to create programs that include; youth and school outreach programs, horticultural therapy, and civic function within the community, as well as finding sustainable ways to use environmental resources. The survey data collected in this research will be used to make informed decisions regarding the Oregon State University Master Gardener Program.
