Summary. Paper presents the results of investigations on the mixing process of six mineral blends of similar physical properties. Mixing process was realized in the mixers of various construction and capacity. Different mixing duration and fi lling degree of the mixers were used. The uniformity of mixtures was determined indi-rectly, by means of microtracers introduced into mixture: the uniformity of their distribution in mixed material was determined after each mixing cycle
