Interobserver reliability of the AO classification system using plain radiographs was sig-nificantly higher than the interobserver reliability of the AO clas-sification system using only computed tomography. Conclu-sion: From these data, we conclude that classification of distal radius fractures using CT scanning without plain radiographs is not beneficial
