The phytohormone auxin is critical for plant growth and triggers many developmental processes [1]. Its effects on plant development are mediated by two distinct signaling pathways: the nuclear TIR1/AFB pathway and the ABP1 dependent pathway [2]. The nuclear TIR1/AFB pathway is well-characterized, controls a remarkable number of auxin mediated process, and plays an important role in plant development [3,4].
