HIV Infection and Malaria—Understanding the Interactions

The natural history of interactions be-tween infectious diseases can be challeng-ing to accurately describe. These interac-tions can be somewhat straightforward, as is the case with HIV and mycobacterial infections, or circuitous at best, as is the case with HIV infection and malaria.
