In seven photo in~ensitive doJichos bean lines, maximum extent of genetic variability was exhibited by pod yield followed by pod breadth and pod weight. These three characters indicating the possibility of their improwment through individual plant selection also recorded high heritability coupled with high genetic advance. Pod yield was positively and significantly correlated with pod weight. which could be considered as one of the important selection criteria in improvement of pod yield.
