The HiRes prototype detector is now observing extensive air showers above 50 PeV in coincidence with the CASA extensive air shower and MIA muon arrays. The prospects for energy cross-calibration and cosmic ray composition measurements are discussed. Preliminary analysis of data collected in late 1992 is presented. 1
