Abstract – A new hybrid structure- hesitant fuzzy soft set, involving soft set is introduced. Soft set is relatively a new approach initiated by Molodtsov in 1999 to deal impreciseness and uncertainty. Hesitant fuzzy set is a generalization of fuzzy set whose membership is a subset of [0,1]. This paper is an endeavor to establish a link between soft sets and hesitant fuzzy sets. Basic operation such as intersection, union, compliment is defined and De Morgan’s law is also proved.
