This resource manual and guide provides schools and communities with the most current research-based information available concerning alcohol and drug abuse prevention education. It also provides model lessons, written by Oregon teachers, to infuse into current programs. The document is organized into four sections. The first, an introduction, defines curriculum infusion; describes 10 content and skill areas essential to a K-12 alcohol and drug abuse prevention program; presents notes to the teacher on using the curriculum ideabook; and includes a sample lesson.
