Abstract Aim: To characterize the phytochemical constituents of Zingiber roseum,Curcuma angustifolia, Globba marantina using GC-MS technique. Methods: The crude extract form was subjected to column chromatography over silica gel (100-200 mesh) and eluted with n-hexane, chloroform, ethanol and methanol respectively. The methanol fractions of each plant were taken for GC-MS analysis. The component identification was achieved by the GC-MS analysis using HP 6890 series GC (Hewlett-Packard.
