The single crystals of tristhiourea lanthanum bromide (TTLaB) have been grown by solution growth using slow evaporation technique. The grown crystals were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD) to study the crystal structure. The presence of functional groups was identified through Fourier transform-infrared technique. The optical study exposed that the crystal has high transmission with lower cut off wavelength of 237.43 nm. The Elemental analysis confirmed atoms present in the grown compound.
