In its 2010 report, the International League Against Epilepsy Commission on Classification and Terminology had made a number of changes to the organization, terminology, and classification of seizures and epilepsies. This study aims to test the usefulness of this revised classification scheme on children with epilepsies aged between 0 and 18 years old. Of 527 patients, 75.1 % only had 1 type of seizure and the commonestwas focal seizure (61.9%). A specific electroclinical syndrome diagnosis could bemade in 27.5%.Only 2.1% had a distinctive constellation. In this cohort, 46.9 % had an underlying structural, metabolic, or genetic etiology.
