(LAISPS), the fourth society admitted to the IPA after settlement of the antitrust lawsuit against APsaA, the IPA, and the New York and Columbia institutes. That suit reversed decades of exclusion of psychologists from APsaA, gaining nonphysicians the right to train in APsaA institutes, and non-APsaA societies in the United States the right to become societies in the IPA. All of the thirteen contributors are faculty members at LAISPS, and all, with the lone exception of Leo Rangell, are psychologists.
