Compliance with the McKinney Act: Providing Homeless

Meeting the needs of homeless chil-dren is one of the greatest challenges now facing the educational system. For that reason, the Stewart B. McKinney Homeless Assistance Act was enacted in 1987 to provide homeless children with educational opportunity.
