CLASSROOM TEACHERS ENCOUN-ter a wide array of student be-havioral problems, including "internalizing " behaviors (e.g., social withdrawal, depression) as well as the more obvious "externalizing " behav-iors (e.g., hyperactivity, distractibility, opposition-defiance, aggression; Kauff-man, 1993).
