Material from Borneo and Sumatra show that there is a morphological evolution from Lepidocyclina (Lepi-docyclina) isolepidinoides van der Vlerk, 1929, to L. (Ne-phrolepidina) nephrolepidinoides sp. nov., L. (N.) brou-weri Rutten, 1924 and L. (N.) ferreroi Provale, 1909. The lineage demonstrates one of the evolutionary progres-sions from Lepidocyclina (Lepidocyclina) to Lepidocycli-na (Nephrolepidina) for the Far East region
