THE importance of accurate diagnosis of congenital heart disease has led to the development and refinement of a series of technics and diagnostic procedures such as catheterization of the heart and angiocardiography.1'2'3 Although these procedures are of great diagnostic value in the recognition of the individual malformation, they should serve another equally important purpose, the promotion of a better understanding of the clinical and radio-logic manifestations of these malformations.
