Abstract: A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a multi-hop wireless network which doesn‘t require any basic infra structure. In MANET nodes act as routers themselves. Due to high mobility of nodes, the routing problem in ad hoc networks becomes thornier. Many routing protocols have been proposed for MANET. AODV (Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector) routing protocol is the representative among the most widely available on-demand Ad-hoc routing protocols. In traditional unipath AODV a single route reply along the first reverse path is used to establish routing path between source and destination nodes.
