Abstract. University effectiveness can mainly be evaluated a posteriori, following student graduation. The key variable that can be used in measuring University effectiveness is postgraduate employability. This work aims at studying this variable, using the data collected by a survey that involves graduates from several Italian Universities. Starting from the results of the segmentation analysis (applying the CHAID algorithm), we highlight the most significant variables linked to employability. After this, focusing on non-studying graduates, the logistic regression analysis also investigates the link between employability and other variables describing graduates.
