Designed for teacher trainers and teachers interested in presenting a multicultural perspective in elementary and secondary art and music education, the training manual focuses on the art and music of three cultural groups: Black Americans, American Indians, and Hispanic Americans. The manual begins with an introduction to the concept of multicultural education and the rationale for the teaching approach, and includes statements of the art and music educators' need for multicultural education.
