Background: age-related issues are expected to rise in the coming decades. Osteoporosis, falls and fractures are major public health issues among elderly. Pelvic fractures are associated with a serious morbidity and hospitalisation rate. We therefore per-formed a study to determine trends in incidence and age-specific rates of pelvic fracture-related hospitalisations among elderly (≥65 years).
