Abstract. Paper includes results of investigations and hematological studies, conducted on brood stock and offspring of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) grown at SCDP Nucet-DâmboviŃa. Research aimed hematological parameters and the performance of growing for parents and two generations of fry by natural reproduction rearing in different conditions: group I-fingerlings reared in natural environment (age about 80 days), and group II-fingerlings reared in aquariums at 20°C for 120 days. Growth of Nile tilapia in the natural environment was exclusively accomplished on natural feed and in the aquarium on the basis of the use of a particular feed (Aller Tilapia XS, 33 % PC).
