Abstraet--A jerk-free motion of an internal Geneva wheel is obtained by using a special driving mechanism. For this mechanism a four-bar mechanism is chosen from which the coupler point drives the wheel. By special choice of the four-bar linkage the coupler curve can be made symmetrical nd containing two Bali's points. For each number of stations the dimensions of the mechanism are tabled for optimal transmission angles and next o it also in those cases where the coupler point lies in one line with the two moving turning-points. Drawings of the intermittent mechanism are simplified in cases where the circling-point curve degenerates. 1
